Tim Sutton, Founder
Tim has developed, grown and financed a large number of
technology companies. Most recently he has raised funding within biotech/life
sciences, media and internet software start-ups as well as driving their
commercial development. He has a stake in, and is CEO of a technology
company working in the field of dyslexia and other difficulties.

Up
to 2002, Tim held a number of hands-on local
Board roles within communications-sector US and European public companies.

He turned around, ran successfully and achieved a trade sale of a technology
manufacturing business, and went on to join the leadership
team of an $11m Cambridge technology spin-out, growing this business into a $4bn NASDAQ corporation
in less than two years.

When this organisation was eventually sold, he became integral to
the team who turned
T-Mobile UK into profit for Deutsche Telekom, before moving to focus on early stage companies.

- Tim's early career included raising money for a bid for
British Coal, negotiating JV agreements with PepsiCo, and starting up a
direct to retail business for EMAP plc. He originally trained as an
Accountant within blue-chip companies, and remains a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management
Accountants.
